What Is Karate Pilgrimage: Michi

Each person is born with a mission granted by the deities: to serve society and others.

To carry out that mission and one’s path correctly, daily gratitude and prayer to ancestors and distant ancestral deities are considered essential.

This pilgrimage, offered by Okinogu, invites participants to reflect on themselves and return to their origin.

About the Program

This program offers a new style of pilgrimage tourism through karate. In Okinawa, where many great karate masters were born, participants learn history, culture, and spirit while taking time for personal retreat and renewal.

Visitors from outside Okinawa, international guests, and beginners are all welcome.
