Prayers for Dojo Safety, Training Progress, and Prosperity of Students
At Okinogu, the sacred land of karate, we accept karate prayers for the safety of the dojo, the progress of students in training, the success of demonstrations and tournaments, and the prosperity of the dojo.
In addition to in-person prayers at the shrine, those living far away may also receive sacred items by mail after our priests perform the ritual.
We offer sincere prayers before the deity so that daily training may continue in purity, and both skill and spirit may be refined.

In the Gongendo at Okinogu, Busaganashi is enshrined as the deity who protects and guides the martial way.
Busaganashi has long been revered throughout the world of Ryukyuan karate as a deity of the martial way.
This prayer also invites us to see karate not merely as a technique for winning and losing, but as a path to correct the body, fulfill etiquette, and clarify the heart.
At Okinogu, we perform prayers for dojo safety, training progress, and the prosperity of students before Busaganashi.
