At Okinogu, the sacred land of karate, we accept prayers for dojo safety and prosperity, as well as for the growth and progress of all practitioners.

You may visit the shrine in person, or if you live far away, sacred items can be shipped after the ritual. Our priests offer each prayer sincerely.

Okinogu enshrines Busaganashi, the Ryukyuan deity of martial arts.

Busaganashi has long been revered by Okinawan martial artists as a guardian deity of martial practice.

The deity protects those devoted to karate and other disciplines, guiding both skill and spirit to greater heights.

At Okinogu, we perform dojo safety and prosperity prayers before Busaganashi.

How to Offer the Fee

If Visiting in Person

Please offer the fee directly at the shrine office on the day of the prayer. A ceremonial envelope is preferred, but plain payment is also accepted.

If Requesting by Mail

After we confirm your application, you may pay by credit card or bank transfer. Details will be sent by email.

About Reservations

You can apply for the prayer online in advance, except during the New Year period.

We also accept requests by phone, fax, or in person.

Reservation Period

Applications are accepted from two months before your desired date until two days before. Please contact us directly for requests outside this period.

Capacity

Up to 10 people may attend together per reservation. Please contact us in advance for larger groups.

On the Day

Please come to the shrine office at least 15 minutes before the prayer begins and complete your check-in.
